This policy explains how TaskAlpha™ uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Platform.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
Required for the Platform to function. Cannot be disabled. These include session authentication tokens, CSRF protection tokens, and user preference storage (e.g. language, selected payment method). Legal basis: legitimate interests / contract performance.
Functional cookies
Enhance your experience but are not essential. These include remembering your application progress, storing your environment profile selections, and keeping you signed in across sessions. Legal basis: consent.
Analytics cookies
Help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not track you across third-party sites and anonymise IP addresses. Legal basis: consent.
Security cookies
Used for fraud detection, abuse prevention, and geolocation cross-checking at application. These are strictly necessary for the integrity of the contributor application process. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
3. Third-party cookies
We do not use third-party advertising or marketing cookies. We do not allow third-party advertising networks to set cookies on the Platform. Any third-party services we use (e.g. analytics) are subject to our data processing requirements and may not use data collected on our Platform for their own purposes.
4. Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the Platform. For other cookie categories, you can manage your preferences through our cookie settings panel. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
5. Changes
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be notified through the Platform.
